Happy 40th Birthday Giulia

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti was presented to the Motoring Press at Monza Autodrome on the 27th June 1962. The new car's mechanical components and usual angular body styling immediately attracted attention. The generous internal diamensions (it could accommodate up to six people when specified with the optional column gearchange) and the cavernous boot made the new Giulia saloon instantly popular with the general public. The 1600 Ti provided long distance high speed cruising ability combined with superb comfort.

A total of 71,147 units were produced, 23,606 with floor change (optional from 1964), in right-hand drive and in CKD form.
