AROC Racing at Mallory 2013

The very crowded AROC Club calendar in 2013 has not made it possible to commit to all the various dates and venues offered to us in 2013 for the proposed race series. However, almost all the competitors who replied to the Club liked the idea of racing at Mallory Park in early August so the Club is delighted to announce that in 2013 we are going ahead with the Mallory weekend again for the third year. The main race date will be Sunday 4th August, with qualifying and two races on that day.

AROC Magazine [month] [year]

AROC Magazine February 2013

The first magazine of the new year features a photograph of a snow-less Classic Monte Carlo Rally. Inside following on from recent features we have thoughts on driving three versions of the 155, a review of the launch and history of the car that changed the face of Alfa Romeo - the Alfasud - and detail what happened to an Alfa that took part in the first Tour of Britain Rally in the 1970s. We include all the regular features and news along with a new column for younger Alfisti.

National Alfa Day 2013

We are pleased to annouce National Alfa Day 2013 will be held on 11th August at the Chatham Historic Dockyard.

The Dockyard, which has played a vital part in supporting the Royal Navy for over 400 years, has an array of buildings and maritime displays for all the family to enjoy, and has proved a fantastic venue for the Club in the past.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Classic Car Show Dublin

9th/10th February The Royal Irish Automobile Club will host the RIAC National Classic Car Show in the RDS, Dublin. This is an indoor event and the AROC Ireland Section will have a stand. This event promises an unparalleled line-up of all types of classic, post-vintage, vintage, veteran and antique cars. More information on this event is available at http://classiccarshow.ie

AROC Magazine December 2012

AROC Magazine December Issue

It is a bumper issue for the last of 2012 with the cover featuring another Rally of the Tests win for Alfa Romeo. On the cover Paul Wignall is featured powering through the forests on his way to victory and inside we see the end-of-event celebrations and a rather dirty Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint en-route. We also conclude the story of the 155 with a special message from Gabriele Tarquini to his many fans; Simon Moore tells the story of the remarkable Figoni Coupé and there is a guest return of the popular Steve McCall in a new guise.
