NATIONAL ALFA WEEKEND, Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb, Worcestershire, WR6 6RP
Our National event will this year become a weekend of Alfa Romeo celebration at the oldest motor sport venue in continuous use in the world. First used in 1905, it is older than Indianapolis, Le Mans or Monza. Brooklands has been and gone, but Shelsley Walsh is still here, as old as the sport but as modern as today. More than 1500 Alfa Romeo cars are expected to attend the biggest Hillclimb event of 2010, and since 1905 the oldest too! A round of the MSA British Hillclimb Championship, the MSA Hillclimb Leaders Championship, and the Midland Hillclimb Championship. The fastest cars in British Hillclimbing will vie for the best time of the day in two exciting Top Twelve Run-offs.
The event will see National gatherings of Club Model Registers, the Annual AROC Concours d’Elegance and Trade Stands.
Sunday 28th August
Southend on Sea Italian Festival. We have been offered the opportunity for our members to show their cars at this event. Our official Liason Officer for this show is Martin Webb –

Wednesday 1 September
Section meeting at Ashwells - Car Boot Sale Night. Got anything Alfa-related clogging up your garage (apart from your car or an unfinished restoration project!?) If it can be sold, swapped or traded from the boot of your car and you'd like to have a clear-out then why not bring it along?
Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September
Goodwood Revival. Further information from
http://www.goodwood.co.uk Wednesday 6 October
Section meeting at Ashwells – Memories Night. Bring along your old photographs, pictures and reminisces of anything that you’ve done with your Alfas (or any cars for that matter) – anything to trigger a discussion! (If dodgy 70s fashion is involved then even better!) A night to discuss those you’ve loved and lost to rust, and tales of days past.
