As 2014 sees the 50th anniversary of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, we are planning a big weekend as the main celebration, which will be held at two venues over the weekend of 10th and 11th May, offering a diversity of activities for you all to enjoy.

Saturday 10th May will see a traditional ‘park and polish’ style event at Boughton House near Kettering in Northants.  There will be the usual trade stands and concours competition held in the grounds of this superb house, known as The English Versailles. This will be followed by a meal in the evening, which will be by booking only, more details to follow shortly for this.

On Sunday 11th May we are hosting a track based event at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire, less than 30 miles away from Boughton House.  This exciting venue will include a ‘track day’ element for those wanting to put in some fast laps (untimed) and some parade laps around the circuit at a more sedate pace. All on track activities are limited to AROC members only. There is also a dedicated karting facility on site with 60mph twin engine karts which we will have for our sole use, including timed laps and a leader board.

We have use of the control tower and a dedicated spectator area should you wish to just come along and watch.

You may have noticed that we have had to swap these days around from our initial plans due to certain restrictions at the venues.

We trust that you will want to come along and join in at these two exciting venues, more details on times and how to obtain tickets will be circulated in the near future.

In the meantime, please keep the dates free in your diary and we look forward to welcoming you along to help celebrate 50 years of your Club.
