2nd July 2008 Blag-A-Ride, The Greyhound, Milton Malsor

The Blag-A-Ride event returns for the third successive year and follows on from a very successful event last year when more than 20 cars arrived at The Greyhound.

If you haven't attended this event before, why not come along and take the opportunity to be taken for a ride in a fellow members pride and joy in the lanes around the village of Milton Malsor. The runs can be as long as you like or until you've had enough. So come along your bound to have great fun!

Unfortunately we have had to make an alteration to this event as a result of a change in management at The Greyhound it will not be possible to offer the previously advertised BBQ. However the pub has an excellent menu if you would like to order food.

20th July 2008 The Charity Classic 2008, Kimbolton

Organised by the Sporting Bears Motor Club and the Kimbolton Castle Rotary Club. For the first time we have been allocated a display area for the Alfa Romeo Owners Club. We have been supplied with 30 tickets and the East Anglian and South Midlands Sections are joining together for the display.

Each ticket costs £5 per car.

As it is our first year at this show we would like to make an interesting display.

4th August 2008 Section Meeting New Location, The Aviator, Sywell Aerodrome

Having been at The Greyhound for some considerable time we have decided the time was right to try a new venue.

We are delighted to announce our relocation to Sywell Aerodrome from August this year.

Situated close to the A43 and A45 about 10 miles from Northampton & Kettering & about 4 miles from Wellingborough, Sywell boasts very attractive facilities. Sywell is an active airport, mainly used by light privately owned aircraft. There is a restaurant, bar & hotel on sight as well as a museum and plenty of parking close to the landing strip, which is sure to be popular for our summer meetings.

We will meet in the bar of The Aviator Hotel between 7.30-8.00 on the first Wednesday of each month and look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

We look forward to seeing you all at the forthcoming events.
