Get Ready for First GEAR!
The South Midlands Section of the AROC, in association with our neighbours from the East Anglian Section, are delighted to announce the first Great Eastern Alfa Run. It will take place on Sunday, 23rd May 2010. Participants are invited to meet at Burton Latimer Rectory near Kettering from 9.30am where parking will be provided (weather permitting). Those who are so inclined are welcome to join us in church at 10am for a Eucharist to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo.
Cars will depart from Burton Latimer Rectory at 11.30am for Wimpole Hall near Cambridge to arrive around 12.15pm and meet up with our friends from East Anglia for a picnic lunch. There will be a concours competition and an opportunity to explore the Hall, Farm and Gardens at a reduced rate negotiated with the National Trust.
