9 June 2011 National ALFA Day 2011 I hope register members will support this day and in doing so keep the numbers of RZ's and SZ's at a high profile. If you are considering bringing your car along, please contact me by e-mail and advise. We will be allocated an area suitable for our numbers so the earlier we know the size of display, the better. I look forward to hearing from you.
Paul Millbank (Register Secretary) 12 April 2011 Classic & Sports Cars Action Day - Saturday, June 11, 2011 Classic Action Day 2011 Castle Combe Classic and Sports Car Action Day
http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/events/display_event.asp?EventID=324 A unique blend of club show and all out track action, the Classic Action Day is a genuine one-off featuring displays of vehicles to rival any static show but with the added attraction to drive your car on the track.
Through the Bristol section of the AROC, we used to support this event on an annual basis back in the 1990’s and it is time we did so again. Last year there was a fantastic selection of Classic Sports Cars, so the organisers are looking to AROC for support to make the event even more diverse. This year for 2011 we are looking for Zagato bodied ALFA Romeo’s and two door coupe/convertible cars up to 1993, including the 916 bodied cars.

April 15th 2011 Magazine article enquiry from Mike Le Caplain - Classic Car weekly:
"Hi,
I'm Classic Car Weekly's Features Editor, and having read the current issue of Alfa Romeo Driver, wondered if we might be able to get some Alfa-centric content into the paper over the coming months.
We run buyer’s guides and classic road tests on a variety of cars each month, but I’m keen to get some different content into the classic road test schedule in particular. From the Alfa stable, cars we haven’t tested in recent years include the Alfasud, 164 Cloverleaf, SZ/RZ, Montreal and Giulietta. I think the 155 is a youngtimer classic that’s very much on the cusp, too.
If you think any of the AROC members have cars that might be of interest – and who would perhaps be willing to spend a day with us and a photographer...lunch included, of course! – then I’d be very interested to hear back from you.
Meantime, if you have any further questions or queries, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
With kind regards,
Mike
