Alfa Romeo 155 - 25th Anniversary Event - 8th & 9th of July 2017

The Alfa Romeo 155 was officially launched in Barcelona in 1992 and in June 2012 the Alfa Romeo Owners Club celebrated the model’s 20th anniversary by organising a weekend event, which included a social gathering on Saturday and Tulip style run in the wonderful Derbyshire countryside on Sunday.

The event was attended by over thirty cars and was an unmitigated success from start to finish. Click the link below to view all the 155s in attendance.

After the success of 2012 AROC have decided to celebrate the model’s 25th Anniversary in a similar way, this is your chance to join other 155 owners for what will be the largest gathering of 155s and 155 enthusiasts this year…non-155 owners are welcome too!

The route for 2017 will take in roads from the counties of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Designed by Jeremy Kitson, the AROC Herts & South Beds Section Secretary, the route promises some breath-taking views and excellent driving roads, including some which are used by a rival marque for testing purposes.

Gathering in the early afternoon of Saturday 8th July, the circa 80 mile run will finish around 5-6pm in Hitchin. Attendees will again gather at 19:30 after for an evening of Italian food and merriment before retiring to rest for the next event.

The group will reconvene early on Sunday 9th July for a convoy run to the AROC main event of the year, National Alfa Day at Knebworth House, to enjoy a more sedate day out in the July sunshine with hundreds more Alfa Romeo enthusiasts and their cars.

Entry to the Saturday Anniversary run is free, you only need to pay your own way for the day. There is an entry fee for National Alfa Day on Sunday and AROC members enjoy a reduced rate – see the Events page for more details
