June 2016 Magazine

The June issue of the Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club magazine celebrates the beginning of the outdoor event season with a full report on and plenty of pictures from Spring Alfa Day at Beaulieu in April, and it also carries articles on an Irish rally, track days, racing, the Club Victor Ludorum and Alfa Romeos racing at the Nurburgring in the late 1960s.

Alfa Romeo Driver February 2016

The February issue, the first AROC magazine of this year, is as bright and colourful as this time of year is grey and dreary, so drive into the articles telling of Alfa motorsport past and future with Bob Dove in Where Are They Now? and Peter Collins telling of the 155s in Martini stripes as well as Ed McDonough introducing Mike Stark’s ‘Ultimate’ 156 GTA and the launch of AROC’s 2016 Victor Ludorum.

The 16th edition of MITCAR keeps up the tradition of being held at a new venue each year, and this time one different from its usual setting at a stately home. The BRITISH MOTOR MUSEUM re-opened in February 2016 with its new name (formerly the Heritage Motor Centre) after a massive redesign.

All racers, ralliers, runners and riders are welcome, you just need to be a member of AROC competing in an Alfa. Registration is free and the events don’t need to be AROC events. Just complete the attached form and send to Lis Whitehair You can register at any time during the season.

December 2015

The December issue of the Driver is packed with such a variety of articles that I wonder how we managed to fit everything in!
I’ll mention just a few to give you a flavour of the range of topics: from an article on the Sapphire Anniversary (that’s 45 years!) of the Yorkshire Section to a report on Viv Stephens speaking to Paul Jones on the future Alfa models, we also include the 20th Anniversary of the Goodwood Section and NEC Classic Car Exhibition, which somehow included (amongst others) a day-old 4C Spider on the AROC stand.

Come and visit the AROC display at the 2015 Classic Car Show, from 13th to 15th November at the NEC Birmingham.

We are in Hall One, stand number 115. We have some great Alfas lined up for our display this year and welcome members and non members to come along for a chat.
