Remarkably, this year will see our 20th visit to Ireland and to celebrate a somewhat ambitious tour has been devised, taking a route around the whole of Ireland in just 11 days (10 nights), visiting several places that we have not previously stayed in. This “Circuit of Ireland” will give participants the opportunity to experience just how much the landscapes and peoples of Ireland change as you travel around the country.
One of the cars specially prepared for the new CTCRC Pre 2005 Production series was this pretty 156. Colin Gibbons is a former Formula Ford competitor and it was his first race meeting for about 15 years.
"I was very pleased with the way it went. We do need to get some weight out of the car as it is some 150kg over the limit. When you think of the number of championships the 156 has won all over the world it is the car to be considered for this new series".
