AROC Magazine [month] [year]

August 2015

As you would expect, the launch of the new Giulia and the car itself are fully covered in the August magazine and re-opening of the Arese museum is celebrated with Peter Collins’ front cover picture. Inside, the magazine is packed with reports on events at home and abroad, including the Club’s National Alfa Day in Cheshire, Laon Historique and a road trip through Europe.  All sorts of racing, rallying and sprinting has been going on so Jon Dooley has been to Monza, Richard Leggett to Roeselare and Ed McDonough to Crystal Palace.

The Surrey Section would like to extend an invitation to all Members – and especially our neighbouring Section Members - to come along to our Family Day Out at the Hollycombe Steam Collection near Liphook in Hampshire.

It all takes place on Sunday 30th August from 11.00 to 17.00.

This is a working museum with fairground rides and two steam railways, plus some additional exhibits of interest to the steam enthusiast. And the cost of all rides is included in the price of your entry ticket. There are also woodland gardens to walk around.

This year’s event will start from The Bell Inn, Shipston Rd Alderminster, Stratford upon Avon Warks (CV37 8NY) and then take our traditional scenic ‘Giro Panoramico’ drive through the north Cotswolds & Warwickshire to finish at the National Trust property Charlecote Park.
