New Range of Service Plans Rolled Out for Alfa Romeo

A complete range of comprehensive service plans for Alfa Romeo – which include all parts and labour costs associated with vehicle servicing, while allowing customers to spread the servicing charges – has been launched by Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

Alfa Romeo Service Plans are designed to present an easy way for owners to budget for their car servicing requirements by removing the need to pay for work in one go. Instead it allows for the cost to be spread out over a fixed term in monthly, interest-free payments.

Goodwood Announces the 2010 Festival of Speed Theme: "Viva Veloce! - The Passion For Speed"

The Earl of March has now confirmed the theme of the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed – provisionally to be held on 2-4 July 2010 – as ‘Viva Veloce! – The Passion for Speed’. This theme celebrates Italy’s all-consuming fascination with motor racing, and its global influence on the sport. From Alfa Romeo to MV Agusta, Ascari to Agostini, and Monza to the Mille Miglia, Italians have raced with breathtaking fervour, inspiring desire and devotion that transcends national identity.

Alfa Romeo Tops September Sales

Alfa Romeo’s sales resurgence in the UK continued unabated during September, with the Italian sporting car manufacturer recording one of the highest year-to-date increases of any brand, and among the highest percentage increase for the new registration month.

In an industry badly affected by the recession, Alfa Romeo recorded a remarkable 148.5% rise in 59 plate registrations for the month, to deliver nearly 2,000 new cars to UK customers.


New Engines and Trim Levels for Alfa 159 Range - More Power, More MPG, Lower Emissions

Alfa Romeo, has just introduced two brand new Euro 5-compliant engines for the Alfa 159 range - the 1750 TBi and the 2.0 JTDM. Both theAlfa Brera and Alfa Spider will benefit from these powerplants later in the year.

These two new high technology petrol and diesel engines will complement existing petrol and diesel units in the 159 range and introduce a combination of increased torque and power with lower emissions and greater fuel efficiency.

Fiat and Alfa Romeo Both Posted Strong Sales Gains in UK Last Month

Fiat and Alfa Romeo were both big sales winners in the UK in July as the new car market finally turned positive after 15 consecutive months of falling registrations, and although the total market gained just 2.4 percent, Fiat was up by 24.16 percent while Alfa Romeo climbed by an impressive 45.79 percent.
