We all pay the same membership, and we all get every benefit.  There are no gimmicks with the Alfa Romeo Owners Club UK, just a fabulous Club of loyal enthusiasts who love Alfa Romeo.

The Biggest and Best Alfa Romeo Events

For decades, the Alfa Romeo Owners Club UK has organised and run the biggest events across the UK for owners and enthusiasts of Alfa Romeo.

From Spring Alfa Day to National Alfa Day, Scottish Italian Car Day to South West Alfa Day, Southern Alfa Day and Midlands Italian Car Day (MITCAR), our Club organises them all.

Of course, we also have stands at virtually every other Italian car shows and many motoring events throughout the year, including those organised by our friends at Auto Italia MagazineFestival Italia in the Summer at Brands Hatch and of course the NEC Classic Motor Show in November.

National Alfa Day is by far our biggest event and is supported by Alfa Romeo UK and is packed with approaching 1,000 Alfa Romeos and typically over 1,500 guests.  It is a sight to behold and the must-attend event each year.

Members receive discounts to our big events along with other exclusive offers throughout the show season.

Alfa Romeo Driver Magazine

Our flagship full-colour, 80+ page Alfa Romeo Driver magazine is published bi-monthly in February, April, June, August, October and December.

It is packed with the latest updates from the Club HQ and our local Sections and Model Registers and always has interesting articles covering everything from Alfa Romeo history, owners’ cars, trips, buyers guides, road-tests, detailing and technical updates from our workshops along with classified ads and other topics.

And of course our relationship with FCA and Alfa Romeo UK also features, as it does at our events.  We have direct access to the Alfa Romeo press fleet, and we now have access to new models at the same time as other leading motoring magazines and TV shows.

We really encourage our members to contribute to our magazine – the overwhelming majority of content is directly from our members featuring their own cars and their own experiences.  This makes Alfa Romeo Driver a very personal insight into our members and their Alfa Romeos.

As a member, every copy of your Alfa Romeo Driver magazine will be delivered to your door, and you will also be able to publish your classified adverts on both our website and in our magazine… for free.

Access to Local Alfa Romeo Sections

Our club is very social, and we recognise that people live in all corners of the UK so cannot attend every national event we run.

So our Club is organised into 31 geographic Sections around the UK.  Each is run by a regional organiser and supported by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, and every year our Sections typically run over 300 local events and gatherings just for Club members.

On top of this, many of our Sections run regular online meetings, quizzes and presentations which are available to all our Members.

There is nothing else like it for Alfa Romeo owners.

So whether you live in Scotland, Cornwall, Kent or Lancashire, we will have a Section near you with friendly Alfa enthusiasts who organise local meetings, pub gatherings, drive-outs and events close to where you live.

Access to Model Registers

Alongside our Sections, the Club also supports a wide range of model specific registers

Each run by Registrars with in-depth knowledge and support from the Club for everything you need to run, maintain, modify and fix your specific Alfa Romeo.

We see our Model Registers as a critical way that our members gain support, knowledge and assistance with technical queries, general information and, as newer Alfa Romeo owners will know, the in-car technology used in our cars.

So whether you have a cherished vintage Alfa Romeo, a 105 Series, a Montreal, Sud, or a modern Alfa up to the latest 4C, Stelvio and Giulia, the Alfa Romeo Owners Club has an enthusiastic Model Register to support you, and virtually all of them have a Facebook group too.

And our Model Registers always try to park together at our big events, so you’ll meet other like-minded owners in person.

Bi-monthly e-newsletter, Notiziario

Alongside our Alfa Romeo Driver magazine we publish a bi-monthly e-newsletter, Notiziario, in January, March, May, July, September and November.

All Club members receive Notiziario delivered straight to their email inbox.

All our members get something interesting and informative to read every month, with our Alfa Romeo Driver magazine dropping through the letter box six times every year and our e-newsletter, Notiziario, arriving in their email inbox on alternative months.

Notiziario (English translation: News Bulletin) allows the Club to share more video and photo content as well as up-to-date event information and Club benefits to our members.

Most editions of Notiziario include:

  • Details of recent and future events
  • Updates from local Sections and Registers
  • Member profiles with information about their cars
  • Detailing suggestions for our Alfas
  • Information on new or upcoming diecast and model Alfa Romeos
  • Kids section with activities for your children or grandchildren

AROC Guardian

Every AROC member has access to AROC Guardian, a unique product to enable members to create content-rich micro-sites about each of their Alfa Romeos with downloadable, QR-code tax discs to display in their windscreens at events!

  • Content-rich and easy-to-use editor enabling members to add as many images and as much text about their Alfa Romeo as they wish

AROC Insurance with Chris Knott

For decades, the Alfa Romeo Owners Club has had a hugely beneficial partnership with Chris Knott Insurance.

A truly independent insurance broker where our needs are put first and where we all receive the ongoing support, advice and friendship we need.

Chris Knott’s insurer partners give them the authority to quote what they need to (within limits) to sign-up the Club’s members.

In fact, currently members save an average of 23% against their existing renewal quote by using AROC Car Insurance.

Switch to AROC Car Insurance and you’ll benefit from traditional personal service where you’ll always be able to speak to a qualified insurance professional right here in the UK – we don’t use call centres.

And not only that, with fabulous Breakdown cover, Gap insurance and discounts on home and travel insurance, Chris Knott can support our members with all their insurance needs under one roof.

Online Club Archive

The Alfa Romeo Owners Club Online Archive is filled with the Club magazines from Volume 1 Number 1 published in January 1967 up to the present day.

To access our Online Archive, you will need to enter your registered membership email address and password to open up a world of fascinating content.

Approaching 500 publications all to access and read online for Club members!

This is a rich story of the history of AROC, the people who created and drove its growth and laid the foundations for the Club as it exists today.  You can spend hour after fabulous hour of fascinating but entirely unproductive time flicking through our Archive!

The range and depth of the information in it is extraordinary. The members-only Archive includes many features, including:

  • All Club magazines and newsletters from the earliest publications in the 1960s
  • Full index by year and volume of publication
  • Contents and contributors for every publication
  • Full search facility to find something specific over the decades

Motorsport and Trackdays

Our Club has a very long history of Motorsport, and members can participate in motorsport events, track-days, sprints and hill-climbs which are arranged by our Motorsport team.

We often run professional trackdays at major circuits around the UK in partnership with other trackday companies and Alfa Romeo dealers.

Our Club actively participates in the Silverstone Classic, the HRDC Historic Alfa Challenge and the Goodwood Revival.

In addition, the Alfa Romeo Owners Club are partners with the Alfa Romeo Championship Association (part of the 750 Motor Club) and support their activities around the UK for FIA regulated circuit racing in all types of Alfa Romeo, old and new.

Alfa Romeo Driver Podcasts

Join our Alfa Romeo Driver magazine Editor Guy Swarbrick in our Podcast series as he meets figures from the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and the wider Alfa Romeo community and talks openly on topics for the listening pleasure of our members.

Guy’s interviewing technique ensures you hear the real opinions and honest views of the participants, which are therefore not necessarily the views of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club UK.

As each new Podcast is recorded, it will be simultaneously posted on our website, on our Youtube channel, on iTunes, Google, Spotify and our preferred platform Podbean automatically.

So choose your favourite platform for listening on your preferred device, get a tea or coffee and settle down for some great Alfa Romeo content.

Virtual Racing Championship

The Alfa Romeo Owners Club, in collaboration with the Alfa Romeo Championship, have setup several Virtual Racing Championships using Assetto Corsa for online gaming excitement. And we have dedicated servers just for us.

There is always a Championship in progress for AROC Members and ARCA Registered Drivers, whether in touring cars or open-top racers.  And we race all around the virtual world at some of the best and most exciting tracks from today and from the past!

The Championships are on Windows PC using Steam, and we always welcome novices and new joiners to the Championships.  It really is a lot of fun!

We have a full calendar of races and when the calendar shows no races, there is a looping on-track session so you can be online and racing an Alfa at any time of day or night!

Valuations, DVLA Liaison and Factory Information

Our Club is uniquely placed in the UK to offer valuable services to our members with historic and rare Alfa Romeos.

We have a well established relationship Museo Storico Alfa Romeo and know the archivists and Curators as friends, which can frequently help our ability to unearth long-lost information or details about cars.

  • Valuations to support agreed-value insurance cover, claims issues and settlements
  • Approved DVLA liaison for age-related number plates, original number plates and other licensing issues
  • Approved liaison with the Alfa Romeo Centro Documentazione in Arese for original factory build records from their archives

If you are already a member, you can access these services as part of your membership, and details of our valuation experts, DVLA and Alfa Romeo liaisons are contained within your latest Alfa Romeo Driver magazine.

Member-only Alfa Romeo Parts Service

The AROC Parts Service is just for members of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club.

Our purpose is to support our members to maintain or restore their cars and keep their Alfa Romeos on the road. Our aim is to continually and carefully source and curate original OEM, new-old-stock Alfa Romeo parts and maintain them for the day our members need them.

We are not simply buying parts and reselling for the sake of it. There are several companies in the UK who are partners of the Club who are parts suppliers to the Alfa Romeo community.

We are curating parts for the decades to come to provide a service to members and help them find a part for their Alfa Romeo, whether it’s next month or in five years – we will be here to help.

Joining Pack

When you join the Alfa Romeo Owners Club UK, you will receive a welcome pack including your unique membership card and the most recent copy of Alfa Romeo Driver, our Club Magazine.

That annual price reduces to just £45.00 per year if you renew annually with direct debit.

We offer discounts for concessionary membership for under-25s and over-65s, but you’ll still get all the same benefits.
