The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, revealed on 25th May 2020 that car dealerships will be allowed to reopen in England on 1st June provided the dealerships can meet the Covid-19 secure guidelines to protect shoppers and workers.

FCA UK intend to fully support the opening of the majority of Alfa Romeo retail outlets in England on 1st June for Sales, Service and Parts, and MOPAR are already sending PPE equipment and additional training and accompanying signage in preparation.

The primary concern will be the safety and well-being of customers and staff, therefore dealers will be operating with reduced staff and will have strict social distancing in place in accordance with Government guidelines.  Dealers have been working hard to implement the necessary measures to operate safely over the last few weeks.

Customers planning to visit their Alfa Romeo dealer are advised to contact the dealership first to make an appointment and understand the guidelines in place for showroom interactions, vehicle demonstrations and test drives.  Customers and staff must follow the social distancing signs and any one-way walking systems in place and use hand sanitisers provided.

This is a welcome return for our Alfa Romeo dealerships, and forms the first wave of non-essential retail re-opening.

We look forward to seeing you, at a safe distance, at your local Alfa Romeo dealership.
