Southern Alfa Day 2022 is being hosted the AROC Central Sussex Section at the Amberley Museum on Saturday 3rd September 2022.

Entry to this event is by advance ticket only. Please do not turn up without a ticket as there will be no facility to pay on the gate.

All entrants must arrive on site before 10.00 in the morning and can not leave the site 3.30 in the afternoon. There will be general public on the site during the day and safety is paramount, no cars will be allowed move around the site without permission from the organisers and a marshal to escort them to the gate.

There are many heritage exhibits covering the 36-acre site’s history as a Chalk Pit and Lime Kilns. There are also numerous transport exhibits, including a narrow-gauge railway and railway museum, bus garage, fire station, village garage, and roadmaking museum. Engineering exhibits include a stationary engine collection, an electricity museum, telephone exchange/ BT Museum, TV and Radio exhibition and finally a number of craft exhibits can be found dotted around the site.

The Limeburners Café is a spacious, modern and comfortable venue that serves hot food at lunchtime, together with sandwiches, snacks, cakes and hot drinks all day, there is both indoor and outdoor seating with the terrace overlooking the main activities.

We are once again delighted to welcome Alfa Romeo dealership PDH Garages of Hassocks as our event partner for Southern Alfa Day and they will have a couple of cars on display and will be able to assist on any enquiries on both new and used Alfa Romeo cars.

Members and non members are welcome to join us, but non members must be in an Alfa Romeo please! 

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the grounds.
