Just a reminder about next Sunday's 50 mile run...
The start point is Newlands Corner Car Park which is on the left of the westbound carriageway of the A25 shortly outside Abinger Hammer. Please arrange to be there between 10am and 10:30am.

Many thanks to everyone who made it along to the Christmas meeting on December 7th.

Congratulations to Paul Pozzoni, Richard Reincke, Dave Barry, and Andy Buchan for winning the Italy and Alfa-related quiz. Many thanks to Barry Daborn for organising this.

At the meeting I gave a slide show reviewing the section meetings and other events that we attended during the course of 2015. If you missed the meeting or would just like a second look at the slides please contact me via

Webmaster Alex Goldbloom writes:

Many thanks to everyone who either brought their Alfa or attended the Cranleigh Classic Car Show. This was my first time the event and I was taken both by the scale and the quality of the cars on show. The covered the A to Z of classics from Alvis to Zagato and all in all numbered over a thousand cars. All in all we had sixteen cars from the Surrey and Central Sussex sections (particular thanks to Tony Gould and Stephen Price for bringing their 'Sud and Spider respectively).

Spider Night 2015
Section secretary Grant Richardson writes:
We had an excellent turnout for Spider Night. By my reckoning the final tally was 7 Spiders in all: a silver Series 2 105; a white Series 3 105; a red Series 4 105; two early 916 (both a variety of shades of red); a late 916 Spider (silver); and a black 939 Spider. Thank you to those who came; I hope that you enjoyed our temporary venue for this meeting.
