Regulalry updated news of what's happening in the Alfa Romeo Owners Club.

Trips will tentatively be organised on behalf of Club members who wish to participate in the following events.  These trips are open to ALL Club members on a first come, first served basis.  All trips are intended to be both appealing and affordable for the majority of members.  Please contact me in the first instance to register an interest.  Advice on bespoke trips for individuals to any of these events can also be provided.  All enquiries regarding Club Trips should be made to: Nick Clancy (E-mail:

AROC will be having a display at this popular event again this year.
 
To apply for a free vehicle pass and ticket please email Club manager, Nick Wright manager@aroc-uk.com to register.  Passengers are required to have tickets booked and paid for in the normal way via the Brands Hatch website.
 
Department for Transport (DfT) Guidance on Substantial Change of Historic Vehicles.
 
1. The Guidance sets out the definition of a Vehicle of Historic Interest (VHI), vehicles which will, from May 2018, be entitled to be exempt from taking a vehicle (MoT) test.
 

DUTCH ALFA ROMEO OWNERS CLUB TURNING 40 TAKES OVER ZANDVOORT AUGUST 25TH/26TH, 2018, WITH SPETTACOLO SPORTIVO

In 2018 the Dutch Alfa Romeo Owners Club SCARB celebrates its 40th anniversary. A good reason to turn the annual club weekend, the Spettacolo Sportivo Alfa Romeo, into an extra large spectacle. The venue for this event is the former and maybe future Formula 1 circuit of Zandvoort, August 25th and 26th. Prior to the Spettacolo foreign visitors can participate in a scenic tour exploring the Netherlands, the Coppa Spettacolo, for a single day to up to a full week.

The lovely Montreal on the cover of the 84 page August issue of the Club magazine introduces the 5 page article by Bruce Taylor, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first exhibition of this model at Expo ’67, the World’s Fair in Canada. He tells of his ownership experiences and how he has shared his knowledge online with other owners.
