Due to popular demand, we made a welcome return to The Waterwheel Tearooms and Bistro in Howden for our Breakfast meeting on October 28. We very much enjoyed our last visit to the spot back in July so we were all eagerly anticipating our return visit.
On a fine and sunny Sunday morning, this was a perfect run-out for us and there was a fine selection of our cars on display in the car park, including Colin Metcalfe's newly-acquired 146 Junior that looked like it had just left the showroom!
These breakfast meetings always go down well with our group and we had the usual good number show up. In addition we were pleased to welcome some event 'first-timers' as well as visitors from adjoining Sections.
The Yorkshire Full Breakfasts were on form as usual and once again it was a pleasure to eat them in such unique and petrohead-friendly surroundings. As these occasions are so popular with our members and always well-attended, we've decided to make this fine venue a regular on our calendar in future.
